Renmin University of China (RUC) is a research-oriented comprehensive university focusing on humanities and social sciences. Renmin University of China also offers a range of courses in the natural sciences, information technology and environmental sciences. It is directly under the Ministry of Education of China and is jointly financed and supported by China’s Ministry of Education and the Beijing Municipal government.
